Getting your Safety Plans in Place for Tenders

Many small businesses are unprepared or lack knowledge of the vendor application process for opportunities with larger companies and therefore lose out on the opportunity to grow their enterprise.

Many of the documents requested are safety related such as Safety Management plans, Risk Assessments and Occupational Safety and Health Policy and procedures.

This workshop will take small business owners through the various common safety related documentation required and also assist you with the development of a safety management system tailored to your business – allowing you to implement what you have learnt after the session directly into your business.

This session is facilitated by Mark Small, a safety professional of 15 years. Mark is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Health & Safety and an Exemplar Global certified Lead Auditor for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. He has worked in a variety of safety related roles and has much knowledge to impart to the small business owner regarding safety considerations.
