Small business owners are notoriously busy people. Every decision seems to be yours to make and the isolation of business ownership can be strongly felt. Long hours, little down time and that feeling of always chasing your tail can have an impact on your wellness.
This workshop invites you to stop for a few hours to consider how your health and that of your team could be being affected and to:
- Learn about the brain, body and stress
- Gain knowledge and skills for mindfulness and self-care
- Understand the elements for a mentally healthy workplace
- Discover your wellness strengths and the areas to further develop
- Create a plan for a work environment where people are happier, less stressed and more productive.
This session is facilitated by Tracey Saggers, Managing Director of Mining Wellbeing Pty Ltd. Tracey has a background in teaching, also in diverse workplaces including hospitality and mining, and more recently in mental health and wellness. Tracey incorporates her training, experience and skills to deliver connected, heartfelt and practical workshops for workers, business owners and companies. As a small business owner herself, she understands the struggles and joys. Her company, Mining Wellbeing Pty Ltd, delivers mental wellness training and support to the WA resources sector. Tracey likes to work with people’s existing strengths to develop toolboxes for wellness and success.
